Venetta is an Ethiopian-Canadian music producer, DJ, visual artist, and community organizer based in Berlin & the EU.

A dynamic and vibrant selector, Venetta’s energetic and unpredictable mixes & productions reveal a relentless appetite for acid, electro, and techno. Pulling inspiration from cross-cultural influences, Venetta's mesmerizing and non-linear, upbeat sets command room and engage listeners across various musical communities. With only recently emerging into the European scene, Venetta's sound and energy has already landed her debut gig in PanoramaBar, Berlin back in July 2022, kicking-off her debut EU tour, including Primavera. De School, and upcoming invitations not yet announced.Venetta is also the founder and director of the Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Fund, which she founded in June 2020 with the intention of improving mental health support for Black people living in the lower mainland. She is committed to societal change and exploring new approaches to community care, which translates through her work and artistic practice, and anchored to her dedication to reclaiming the black &brown roots of electronic dance music and creating black political spaces as a source of empowerment.
